We all know NFL head coaches treat their franchise’s operations like they’re some kind of top secret government initiative. These coaches detest any flow of information coming out of their camp that they can’t control, are often hostile to the media, and will admittedly be intentionally vague or even lie about some situations having to do with their team.
But just how much do NFL head coaches really hate outsiders coming into their midst and filming intimate scenes from training camp as in Hard Knocks? I mean, reallllllllllllly hate.
This is how Bill O’Brien described HBO’s Hard Knocks cameras leaving:

I get it that he might be joking (probably not). But if he is serious (which deep down he probably is), I just want to see him explain that quote above to his wife and children.
