ESPN took time Friday to celebrate how Tony Reali has hosted Around the Horn for 20 years.
"Sports Illustrated was about two things: Writing and the photos."
Happy Anniversary to ESPN's PTI, a show that after 22 years, made a measurable impact on the sports media and TV world.
Reali is one of ESPN's longest-tenured studio hosts at this point.
"And this is a story, Tony, that is just the latest step in a horrifying year that has been defined for Asian Americans by hate crimes and racist abuse and bigotry."
Reali wound up making a difference for an injured falcon Wednesday.
Reali told Trubisky on Twitter, "It was small of me," and "one of those, 'what a moron I am' 2 secs after you say it moments." The 'Around the Horn' host also is making a donation to a foundation Trubisky supports.
Thankfully, Mr. Tony has tech help at home.
The Newtown Nighthawks got some national attention from both NBC and ESPN.
ESPN personalities were some of the many who spoke out against the proposed cuts to Special Olympics funding.
Reali discussed the simultaneous joy and pain he and his wife experienced, while also speaking out against "children in cages."
"Around The Horn, I could be available, I'm just saying, I could be. Cowlishaw, I'm coming after you. Hey Reali, come on, let's go."
"Speaking of tanking, if Cowlishaw is actually tanking, then taking points away is what he wants. So maybe I should have just given him points! But muting is so much fun!"
Reali had to finish the show not knowing if his family was safe.
