The Cleveland Cavaliers pulled off what was possibly the biggest upset in NBA history when they defeated the Golden State Warriors 93-89 on Sunday, to capture the cities first NBA Championship. LeBron James had a GOAT performance and was named series MVP after netting a triple-double, scoring 27 points, 11 assists, and 11 rebounds. Still, Cleveland and LeBron’s performance wasn’t enough for ESPN king troll Skip Bayless.

Hmmm. The Spurs didn’t even advance past the second round.

Bayless’ days are numbered at ESPN as he’s prepared to enter Jamie Horowitz’s hot-take sports talk network at Fox. Bayless got the Colin Cowherd treatment from his soon-to-be former colleagues who finally spoke their mind about his asinine comments on the 64-year-old as he exits the mothership.

Did John Skipper just decide to send out an email saying it was now OK to roast Bayless on Twitter. If so, I’m not complaining.

Bayless tweet was not surprising, especially to his former First Take colleague Dana Jacobson. Jacobson, who hosted the popular ESPN screamfest from 2007-2011 took issue with Bayless’ tweet. She joined in with her former network colleagues and responded to his tweet by shaking her head and telling Bayless the tweet was “enough.”

Jacobson later clarified that she found the tweet humorous.

Jacobson, who exited ESPN in 2012 to join CBS Sports, has clearly experienced Bayless’ LeBron-Cavaliers trolling for a long time and finally had enough. She’s not with ESPN anymore, so calling out Bayless is more than appropriate given the level of cringe from his tweet.

Meanwhile, Bayless continued to throw hate LeBron’s way.

Never change Skip. Actually, please do.
