iphone, light reader, cricket

What do you do when your sporting event is threatened by darkness and you need to know how much light there is?

You call in your trusty reporter and his state-of-the-art light meter.

At the cricket match between New Zealand and South Africa on Saturday, reporter Craig Cumming of Sky Sport informed viewers that his “light meter” was reading 6.5. (6.5 what? He didn’t say.) But when he whipped out said light meter, it sure looked like… something else.

What was this dude thinking? That none of his viewers had ever seen an iPhone before?

Cumming doesn’t seem to be making a joke here. He’s legitimately trying to pass off his calculator as a light reader and doing a really awful job of it.
