IIt’s still hard to believe that Arnold Palmer has passed. The larger-than-life figure died last year at the age of 87. This week, the PGA Tour will be at Bay Hill in Florida for the Arnold Palmer Invitational. It will be the first tournament without its host having some type of presence. It will be an emotional week for golfers as they will pay tribute to the man who meant so much to the sport and to its popularity.

Tournament sponsor Mastercard has made this ad which  was unveiled this week. You’ll see it on Golf Channel and NBC this week. Annika Sorenstam is one person who is featured. The theme is “Arnie Would” touching upon Palmer’s daring play, how much he touched fans and his love of children. It packs quite the emotional punch:

Expect all types of tributes to Palmer as the PGA pays respect to him throughout the week.
