  • There were ups and downs from last year’s editions for the various auto races that took place during the weekend of Sep. 30-Oct. 1.

    Experiencing increases from last year: NBCSN’s NASCAR Xfinity Series’ The I’m Not Writing The Sponsor of This Race 200 from Dover on Sep. 30 — up 214 percent (829,000 viewers vs. Oct. 1, 2016 on CNBC: 387,000 viewers): FS1’s NHRA Racing’s NHRA Midwest Nationals from St. Louis on Oct. 1 — up 10 percent (299,000 viewers vs. Sep. 25, 2016: 273,000 viewers); NBCSN’s F1 Racing’s Grand Prix of Malaysia on the late night of Sep. 30 — up 24 percent (287,000 viewers vs. Oct. 1, 2016: 231,000 viewers)

    Experiencing declines from last year: NBCSN’s NASCAR Monster Cup Series’ Apache Warrior 400 on Oct. 1 from Dover — down 20 percent (2.047 million viewers vs. Oct. 2, 2016: 2.558 million viewers); FS1’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series’ Las Vegas 350 on FS1 on Sep. 30 — down 9 percent (408,000 viewers vs. Oct. 1, 2016: 447,000 viewers).
