  • Fox Sports’ boxing coverage on Aug. 25-26 saw notable gains from comparable telecasts last year as well as from their average viewership this year. The prelims for Mayweather vs. McGregor on Saturday, Aug. 26 posted 2.568 million viewers across the Fox broadcast network, Fox Deportes and Fox Sports GO. On Fox alone, the prelims drew 2.438 million viewers from 7-9 PM ET, 71 percent above the 2017 average to-date of boxing events on the network (1.427 million) and Fox’s most-watched boxing event since Jan. 2016. Among adults 18-49, it was up +155 percent (1,156,000 vs. 453,000) vs. the average to-date for Fox and was the most-watched telecast of the day on any network.

    The telecast peaked with 3.11 million viewers from 8:45-9PM ET, for the end of Yordenis Ugas-Thomas Dulorme.

    The second-ranked and fourth-ranked FS1 most-watched telecasts of the week were Mayweather-McGregor Postfight Show (368,000 viewers) from late night of Aug. 26 and Mayweather-McGregor Weigh-in Show (287,000 viewers) from Aug. 25.

    FS1’s fifth-most viewed telecast was the live Premier Boxing Champions show posted 269,000 viewers, a +35 percent gain over the lone card on the network last August (199,000). Among adults 18-49, it was up +174 percent (93,000 vs. 34,000). (Source: Fox Sports PR)

  • F1 racing’s Belgian Grand Prix on NBCSN Aug. 27 drew 447,000 viewers, down 15 percent from last year (Aug. 28, 2016: 526,000 viewers).

  • IndyCar Series: Bommarito Automotive Group 500 from Gateway in Madison, Ill. on NBCSN Aug. 26 (359,000 viewers), down 7 percent from the Firestone 600 that took place on the year-ago Saturday (Aug. 27, 2016: 388,000 viewers).
