ESPN canceling The Sports Reporters, to be replaced with a Sunday E:60 – Jan. 23

ESPN has decided to cancel The Sports Reporters after a nearly 30-year run. The last episode will air in May and will be replaced by a Sunday E:60.

Erin Andrews Reveals she was diagnosed with cervical cancer last year – Jan. 24

Erin Andrews revealed to The Monday Morning Quarterback she was diagnosed with cervical cancer and had surgery in October. Andrews returned to the work five days after her surgery against doctor’s recommendations.

Ready for Comedy Central to televise Barstool Sports, “the Wild West of the internet”? – Jan. 24

Barstool Sports is coming to Comedy Central. The ‘Barstool Rundown’ will air live from Houston between Jan. 30 and Feb 2.

Brent Musburger is retiring next week – Jan. 25 

ESPN announced last week Brent Musburger will be calling two final college basketball games before retiring from Bristol. His final game will be Georgia-Kentucky at Lexington. Musburger’s brother, Todd, revealed Brent will be part of a sports handicapping business in Las Vegas.
