The PGA Championship is the fourth and final golf major of the year. For as much as we may have looked forward to an Olympic golf tournament, the number of withdrawals and negative publicity around it means that it won’t quite reach the level of golf’s other biggest tournaments. At least from the outset.
However, the Olympic tournament does mean that the major affectionately known as “Glory’s Last Shot” moves further up the calendar. If it seems like we just got done with the British Open, well, we did. The classic Henrik Stenson-Phil Mickelson duel happened just under two weeks ago.
