It wouldn’t be an NHL trade deadline without some wacky hijinks from one of the Canadian panelists spending all day talking about it, and former NHL goaltender Martin Biron stepped up Monday on TSN’s TradeCentre. Biron was playing around with a t-shirt cannon and shot a t-shirt at colleague Jennifer Hedger, but hit her more forcefully than he probably intended:

Former TSN anchors Jay Onrait and Dan O’Toole weighed in on Monday night’s Fox Sports Live With Jay And Dan:

And Biron apologized on Twitter later:
If anybody's liking for a goalie with great rebound control @jenniferhedger might be the best option!! Sorry, I'll have to make it up to you

So, this was the t-shirt shot heard around the world, or at least around North America. Fortunately, Hedger was okay:
@martybiron13 Just a flesh wound Marty. #reboundcontrol #tradecentre

And, as Florida Panthers’ goaltender Roberto Luongo and Hedger agreed, this might have signaled time to shut TradeCentre down:
Yep. Agreed. I think we just peaked. "@strombone1: @tsnjamesduthie maybe time to shut it down after that segment no? #NHLTradeDeadline"
