Fox Sports has been known to put out some weird advertisements. Do you remember Gus Johnson and Bill Raftery commentating a baby delivery?!?
Well, Fox has done it again – this time doing a mock police chase video to advertise Jeff Gordon’s debut in the broadcast booth alongside Mike Joy and Darrell Waltrip this year. It’s ironic because Gordon is probably the least likely athlete in any sport to be involved in a real police chase. It’s also a little odd for a sports commercial… especially when it reaches its climactic ending of police officers just wanting to take a selfie with Gordon.
Oh, and one more thing? Fox totally missed a great opportunity for a crossover with FX’s OJ Simpson mini-series.
