It’s one of those moments that can only happen on TNT’s coverage of the NBA. On Thursday, analyst Reggie Miller issued a challenge on Twitter to rapper Drake to play ping pong during NBA All-Star Weekend.

Of course, Drake had to respond and he did in kind to accept the challenge.

With gauntlet thrown, the whole challenge was discussed at halftime of the Knicks-Pistons game. Miller said it was going to be “hot line ping,” reminding us of the days when Miller was known for trash talking when his career was at its peak in the 1990’s. Although Miller said later there will be no trash talking during the match.

There’s nothing like Charles Barkley calling the internet “the worldwide thing.” Once again, the NBA on TNT studio crew turning another segment into gold. So apparently Miller vs. Drake is on and it will be something to watch.
