The Houston Rockets were able to sneak into the playoffs as the #8 seed in the Western Conference in spite of a fairly crazy year of turmoil and dubious stats like James Harden setting the record for most turnovers in one season.

Their prize for making the postseason is a matchup with the top seeded Golden State Warriors, who just completed the best season in NBA history at 73-9.

Rockets fans are catching Clutch City Fever, though, and are still optimistic that their hometown team can pull off the greatest upset in NBA postseason history!

Or not….

Yup, that’s a local news poll from KPRC where 0% of voters believe that the Rockets can defeat the Warriors.  Zero.  Zip.  Zilch.  Nothing.  Nada.

Usually at least there’s some jokers or ultimate homers that would vote for the team to make the finals, but that’s not even true in this case.  That’s how little Houstonians believe in the Rockets.  So when the team can use some intrinsic motivation to say that “nobody believes in us” they can do so because it is the literal honest to goodness truth.
