Tonight, Simone Manuel added to her amazing story by winning a silver medal in the 50 meter freestyle and a gold in the 4×100 meter medley relay. ESPN’s SportsCenter Twitter account in an attempt to get the news about Manuel’s silver medal tweeted a picture of the wrong swimmer. It wasn’t another U.S. swimmer, but it was Brazilian Etiene Medeiros! It wasn’t even close! And you can even see the “OS” for “MEDEIROS” on her cap. Oh boy.

The SportsCenter account deleted the tweet, but of course Twitter saw it and the reaction wasn’t kind:
