The San Diego Padres’ game against the Los Angeles Dodgers Sunday went to 17 innings and produced plenty of weirdness, including Padres’ TV broadcasters Don Orsillo (formerly of the Red Sox) and Mark Grant donning eyeblack before that 17th inning:


Grant might want to be careful with how he’s waving around that pointer; Orsillo tweeted later that he wasn’t particularly impressed with it:

Fortunately, no eyes were lost in the making of this video. Unfortunately for the Padres, the rally eyeblack didn’t work; the Dodgers scored four runs in the 17th to win 9-5. But at least the game finally ended?
