NFL Films cameras have been embedded with the Los Angeles Rams since the team moved from its former home of St. Louis (yes, we know they were first the L.A. Rams, but work with us here). The cameras have been gathering footage for the new season of Hard Knocks which will air on HBO throughout the preseason.

Some of the NFL Films has made it into a new promo for HBO. It’s called “I Am Football” and it’s pretty good. Shot and written in the point of view of the football, you can see quarterback and kicking drills. You can check out the all access cameras showing the ball spiraling and spinning. It’s great stuff that makes Hard Knocks one of the best sports documentary series on television:

Hard Knocks premieres on Tuesday, August 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT and will run through the end of the preseason.
