On this Labor Day, we note that it’s the last one in which we’ll have Vin Scully calling a game. As we count down the days to his retirement, we’ll cherish the remaining games he’ll call until that final game in San Francisco. Tonight, MLB Network will pick up the Arizona-Los Angeles game at 8 p.m. ET using the SportsNet LA feed meaning that the entire country (except for LA) will get to hear Scully. Hopefully, MLB Network will pick up more Dodgers games as we get closer to the end of the season.

Before Diamondbacks-Dodgers, MLB Tonight will air a tribute to Vin featuring former CNN talk show host Larry King, comedian Carl Reiner and San Francisco Giants voice Jon Miller. It will also feature some of his famous calls and some not-so famous calls. Any opportunity to listen to him describe some great moments in baseball is cherished.

MLB Tonight will be on throughout the afternoon until the start of the Arizona-Los Angeles game.
