NBC Sports is doing something cool this weekend by taking its U.S. based English Premier League studio show to England and be as close as they can to the action. This, however, may be a bit too close to the action.

As Arlo White, Lee Dixon and Robbie Mustoe chatted with West Ham’s Andy Carroll on their 2-2 draw to EPL leaders Leicester City, a Leicester helicopter appeared in the background, got louder and louder and eventually landed behind the guys at their pitchside desk. White, like the pro that he is, casually mentioned the helicopter making incredible noise about to land behind them and went on with the interview as if a helicopter landing in the middle of a soccer pitch happens all the time.

While a helicopter landing on a soccer pitch doesn’t typically happen elsewhere, it does happen at Leicester City home matches. After home matches, a Leicester City branded helicopter lands in the middle of the King Power Stadium to take Thai owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha to London and then on a plane back to Thailand. This may not make the groundskeepers happy, but when you own the team who is miraculously leading the Premier League with just a few matches to go, you get to ignore the “keep off the grass” signs.
