It was one of the more heartbreaking stories of last season when Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop/third baseman Jung Ho Kang injured his knee forcing him to miss the team’s Wild Card game. Cut to Friday night when Kang returned to the Bucs’ lineup against dreaded Central Division rival St. Louis and he promptly celebrated his return by hitting not one, but two home runs at Busch Stadium.

The team loved it. Pirates fans loved it. And not only that, the Korean announcers broadcasting the game to Kang’s native country loved it especially when he hit his second tater:

Every dramatic moment should be called in the Korean language. It adds so much luster. Imagine a Korean call of the Miracle on Ice or any NCAA Tournament buzzer beater. It could become the new Jim Ross “Broken in half” meme.
