During Fox Sports’ NFL coverage on Sunday, keen-eyed football fans noticed something incredibly odd with a promotion for next week’s Vikings-Eagles game.

Namely, it appeared that Fox had obviously photoshopped Sam Bradford’s head/face in a Vikings helmet and a #8 onto what appears to be the body of injured quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. The two gloves are a giveaway as are the weird mismatch of colors.

As Tim Burke at Deadspin pointed out, this wasn’t the first time Fox Sports used the Bradford-Bridgewater photoshop hybrid to talk about the Vikings. They used the same image a few weeks ago during a segment on FS1’s Speak for Yourself after Bradford was first traded.

Maybe, just maaaybe you could justify something so peculiar then, when no real image of Bradford in a Vikings uniform existed. But we’re over a month into the season now, you’re telling me Fox doesn’t have one image of actual Vikings QB Sam Bradford to choose from? Not one? C’mon, at least take a screenshot. That’s what the rest of us do.
