It seems like Bob Valvano has been a part of ESPN forever. Whether it’s been as a ESPN Radio weekend host, being on an overnight show, a host on ESPN Radio’s Louisville affiliate or as a college basketball analyst, Bobby V. has been loyal to the Worldwide Leader. And with the shackles off when it comes to former ESPN’er Skip Bayless, now at FS1, Valvano didn’t hold back.  In fact, Valvano went right for the jugular:

Now, what brought this on? It was a couple of tweets that Bayless made in regards to the excruciating and painful Sunday Night Football game that resulted in a 6-6 tie between the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals. And in the final moments, both teams missed field goals that would have won the game in overtime.

So Bayless in his anger over the game tweeted the following thoughts that really made no sense:

It led Indianpolis Colts punter Pat McAfee to respond in the way that a kicker would:

Classic response to Bayless’ knee-jerk reaction. And Valvano’s tweet certainly brings some sauce to the table. One wonders if we’ll see other ESPN’ers will come out of the woodwork to give their opinions on Skippy.

Oh, and we can’t forget this classic Bayless tweet from yesterday:

Of course, we all know what happened, Detroit rallied itself to win over Washington, 20-17. With Skip, it’s all about the immediate reaction and everything else be damned. He is a troll’s trolll.
