He’s been a writer with Fox Sports as well as a talk show host on Fox Sports Radio’s Los Angeles station. Just last week, it was announced that Bill Reiter was leaving Fox to join CBS Sports Digital as a national columnist for CBSSports.com as well as hosting podcasts and to appear on-air with CBS Sports. Now Reiter will be hosting a new three-night-a-week show for CBS Sports Digital that will stream on several platforms.

Reiter Than You will be the first live primetime show that will be streamed on CBSSports.com as well as the CBS Sports app for mobile, tablet and connected TV devices. It will originate from Los Angeles and will begin streaming at 10:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday night of each week.

CBS offers this sizzle reel of what the show will look like when it premieres:

According to the official announcement, Reiter Than You will offer “Bill’s unique perspective and reactions to the latest games, news and stories from the sports world, in a conversational and fast-paced format.”

The announcement goes on to say that Reiter will be featured prominently on CBSSports.com:

In his new role at CBS Sports Digital, Bill is the site’s National Columnist, and he will contribute short and long-form writing regularly in addition to his live show. He will also launch a new podcast on CBS Sports digital platforms in the coming weeks.

Reiter Than You joins CBSSports.com’s lineup of original shows that includes “Fantasy Football Today,” which will be in its ninth year of live streaming as well as “Thursday Night Live,” which is seen before each Thursday Night Football game.

So with Reiter on board, it appears that CBS Sports Digital is looking to not just expand its presence with sports fans with written content, but with video content as well.
