Jon Miller is a legendary baseball announcer and the former voice of ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball.  Now calling games for the San Francisco Giants on the radio, Miller had this funny moment during a game on Thursday.

Hunter Pence hit a grand slam in a 12-6 win over the Dodgers.  And for a moment, Miller thought it was Buster Posey.  Miraculously, he came in with the save at just the last moment, producing one of the more unorthodox home run calls you’ll ever hear…

“A grand slam! For Buster Posey’s good friend… Hunter Pence!”

Well played, Mr. Miller.  Well played, indeed.
