During an SI.com media roundtable, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter revealed that Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman has blocked him on Twitter.

The revelation came when he answered the following question: What current NFL player immediately comes to mind regarding someone who would be very successful as a sports media member and why?

Schefty’s response?

But the current NFL player that immediately comes to mind regarding someone who would be very successful as a sports media member would be Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman. He’s smart, sharp, opinionated, always has strong takes on a number of intriguing subjects. Every time I’ve heard him I’ve been impressed by him. Would love to follow him on Twitter, too—if only he didn’t have me blocked.

We’re not sure what could have possible offended the outspoken Sherman enough to block the mild-mannered Schefter. Most of his tweets involve player status updates. And Sherman’s tweets are all about the “12s.” Everything is dedicated to the 12s. I spent a good 12 minutes looking at both twitter feeds and did not find anything where one is mentioning the other. But, something had to set Sherman off, so using my powers of reasoning, I located the most offensive tweet possible on Schefter’s feed from the past week:

I mean, we are bombarded enough with Draft kings ads ALL THE LIVE LONG DAY. We don’t need to see them in our Twitter feeds when all we want to know is whether or not Jay Cutler is active and should you start him over Cam Newton but you don’t risk it and then Cutler actually generates more fantasy points. But I digress. In all seriousness, it’s not immediately evident why Sherman would block Schefter, but hey, Schefty got off a lot easier than, say, Erin Andrews did.
