NBC Sports Network’s coverage of the 2015-16 Premier League season begins this Saturday, Aug. 8 at 7 a.m. ET with Manchester United versus Tottenham, followed by Bournemouth v. Aston Villa at 10 a.m. ET. As was the case last season, all 380 games will be available for U.S. audiences through the NBCUniversal networks and the Premier League Extra Time bonus television package, while also streaming for desktop and mobile devices on the NBC Sports Live Extra app.

Last year, the network rolled out its “Tactical Cam,” a high-sideline camera which provided a look at all 22 players on the pitch, enabling viewers to get a look at the complete game with formations and various on-field tactics that would not be seen on a conventional TV telecast, much like the perspective fans might have if actually sitting in the stadium. That feature is returning on NBC Sports Live Extra.

On the desktop, “Tactical Cam” can be used as a picture-in-picture experience with the higher angle available in the upper corner of the screen, But on a smartphone or tablet, the high-sideline view can be seen on the entire screen, providing a second screen type of experience to supplement the traditional broadcast. Or if you prefer to watch the “Tactical Cam” angle with the regular audio broadcast, that option is certainly available.

Other features offered through NBC Sports Live Extra include HD quality video, DVR capability during game broadcasts, implementing of social media commentary and live statistical feeds for each team and individual players.

The schedule for the first two months of NBC Sports Network’s EPL coverage can be viewed here. NBC Sports Live Extra is available on NBCSports.com/liveextra for desktop access. For mobile and streaming services, the app can be purchased through iTunes, Google Play, Windows Store, Roku and Apple TV.
