Another new analyst has joined MLB Network’s constantly growing crop of on-air talent – long-time San Francisco Giants third base coach Tim Flannery. Flannery retired following the 2014 season after eight seasons and three World Championships with the club.

Flannery does have experience in TV – he worked as a TV and radio broadcaster for the Padres from 2004 through 2006, and after retirement, he joined CSN Bay Area as a Giants analyst. His role at CSN will continue as he joins MLB Network.

He’ll make his debut on MLB Network this Tuesday morning on MLB Central, and will also join MLB Tonight prior to the MLB Network Showcase game between the Tigers and Cubs. Flannery will appear on MLB Network throughout the rest of the week, appearing on MLB Tonight every day from Tuesday to Sunday while also making appearances on The Rundown (Thursday, Monday) and MLB Now (Monday).

In addition, long-time major league veteran Juan Pierre will be in studio at MLB Network this week. Pierre will appear on Tuesday’s edition of The Rundown, Wednesday’s 9 PM MLB Tonight, and Thursday’s MLB Now.
