You may not have known, but while College GameDay was on the air on Saturday, Ohio State police and the bomb squad had to deal with a suspect. Joe Kinsey of Busted Coverage witnessed the arrest of a suspect who was carrying a backpack near the GameDay set. The suspect was handcuffed and had his backpack inspected until it was cleared.

Police detained the suspect and continued to question him.

And here’s video of the suspect in handcuffs:

College GameDay continued and concluded without any interruptions or incidents. There’s no word on whether any charges were filed. In this day and age, one cannot be too careful. At least law enforcement was on hand to make sure nothing happened out of the ordinary.
