Basketball legend Bill Walton’s brain will should surely be studied by scientists long after we’re all gone to study the next evolutionary step in the human existence.  Thankfully for all of us who are still here though, Walton has brought his one-of-a-kind wisdom and personality to social media becoming an active participant in a variety of platforms.  The big redhead has opened up Twitter, Vine, and YouTube accounts that are all a sight to behold.

These are just a couple of the pearls of wisdom and humor he’s dropped on Twitter…

And the six second version of Walton..

But it’s YouTube where he really shines.  Check out this video hyping a UCLA-California telecast Walton did that is basically an NFL Films level tribute to the Grateful Dead.

This UCLA-Stanford hype video is equally as amazing.

And finally, a heartwarming tribute video to the Twitter user that came up with Bill Walton Bingo…

Amazing.  These videos may be my favorite thing I’ve ever seen in sports.  How does ESPN not use these to promote their Pac 12 schedule?  How have we not had a sequel to Bill Walton’s Long, Strange Trip?  The rest of us can’t ever fully understand or appreciate the totality of everything that constitutes Bill Walton’s World, but I’m just thankful for the glimpse inside.
