The coach’s show on radio rarely produces anything memorable. Usually the coach drones about his team’s last game. Callers or members of the live audience ask questions and this formula is used all over the country. Rarely do we get anything newsworthy from these coach’s shows. But this week we did.

During a show focused on Florida athletics, football coach Will Muschamp called in to prank athletic director Jeremy Foley. “Bill from Gainesville” poked fun at how boring the program is when he’s normally on the show and asked the AD, a big Red Sox fan about the team’s season.

That was funny. Now if more shows could have a coach-AD exchange.
