Welcome to AA’s NFL local ratings rankings. Every week, we’ll take a look at which teams have the highest TV ratings in their local markets, presented 1-32 and with commentary to help provide context, enjoy.

Byes: Philadelphia, Tampa Bay

1. Denver (NBC) – 47.1

The Broncos’ home market tuned in big time to watch Peyton break the NFL TD record on Sunday in primetime, the highest-rated game in the market all season.

2. Green Bay (Milwaukee market) (Fox) – 44.1

Another season high, strangely, for the Packers. Considering it was a blowout 1 p.m. ET game, and the previous high was the Thursday primetime opener against the Seahawks, I’m kind of flummoxed by this performance.

3. New Orleans (Fox) – 39.8

A rebound from two weeks ago’s season low, but ratings remain in the 30s for the struggling Saints.

4. Pittsburgh (ESPN) – 38.5
5. Dallas (Fox) – 36.7

Cowboys fans have bought in big to the red hot Dallas club, with season high ratings for the third time in the last four weeks for the late Fox game against the rival Giants.

6. Buffalo (Fox) – 36.3
7. New England (Boston market) (CBS/NFL Net) – 36.2

A Thursday night game against the biggest (divisional) rival brings the Pats their highest ratings of the season.

8. Kansas City (CBS) – 36.1
9. Seattle (Fox) – 34.0

A 10 a.m. local start brought the champs their lowest ratings of the season.

10. Indianapolis (CBS) – 33.7
11. San Diego (CBS) – 31.7
12. Cleveland (CBS) – 31.4
13. Minnesota (Minneapolis-St. Paul) (Fox) – 30.3
14. Baltimore (Fox) – 28.1
15. Cincinnati (CBS) – 27.4

An uninspiring loss to the Colts in the early slot will get you your season low, Cincinnati.

16. Houston (ESPN) – 27.3
17. Arizona (Phoenix market) (Fox) – 26.5
18. San Francisco (SF-OAK-SJ market) (NBC) – 26.1
19. Chicago (CBS) – 25.7

You can see Chi-town start to tune out of the Bears, as their most recent home loss drew by far the lowest ratings of the season in the Windy City.

20. Detroit (Fox) – 24.8
21. Jacksonville (CBS) – 22.4
22. Tennessee (Nashville market) – 22.3
23. NY Giants (Fox) – 20.5

I believe this is the highest spot either New York franchise has gotten on this list this season, as New York-based Cowboy fans likely helped lift this one over the top to a season high in the market.

t24. Washington (Fox) – 20.1
t24. Carolina (Fox) – 20.1

These two tying markets both hit season lows.

26. St. Louis (Fox) – 16.6
27. Miami (CBS) – 15.3

The Dolphins are never much of a ratings champ as it is, but a win over Chicago drawing a season low? Disappointing.

28. Atlanta (Fox) – 15.2

Another NFC South team hits a season low for a blowout loss to Baltimore.

29. Oakland (SF-OAK-SJ market) (CBS) – 13.4

Kind of surprisingly, this is the highest rating of the season for a Raiders game.

30. NY Jets (CBS/NFL Net) – 13.3
