There’s a new dating site specifically for Green Bay Packers fans

Nothing is more frustrating that trying to navigate the landmine that is online dating. Or dating in general. Or even worse, being on a date that you think is going well, and then they exhibit one of your deal breakers, so you’re left to wallow in self-pity in your pajamas, wondering why you even went out in the first place.

For sports fans, often times, deal breakers come in the form of sports affiliations. A Buckeye would never date a Wolverine. A Hurricane would never date a Gator or Seminole. Red Sox and Yankees fans co-existing? Let me know when hell freezes over.

Well, for Green Bay Packers fans, there is a new dating site, just for them. That’s right, GreenBayPackersLovers.com launched in March, and Bears and Vikings fans should probably stay away.

Via Fox Sports:

“Packers Backers alike will enjoy the site,” founder Kelly Davis said in a press release. “This is a state of the art dating website with the ability to participate in forums, real time full featured chat with members, send messages, receive messages, send winks, build a friends and hot people list, ban others from contacting you, see who has visited your profile, see who has winked at you, upload photos and decide whether they’ll be private or public, and even a built in calendar to keep track of important dates and public events planned for the community.”

I just took a look at the site, and ladies, you have quite the advantage right now. There are 697 male members vs. 341 female members. There are members scattered throughout the country so don’t think you have to live in Wisconsin just to join!

And by the way, this site is everyone friendly – you can search for the same or opposite gender, couples or groups. Now, I will momentarily take my head out of the gutter and say that the group part could be to organize game watches, but the point is that the site is not limiting.

Could this be the next great trend in online dating? Will beardowndating.com be next?
