During Sunday’s Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony on MLB Network, the Hall did something that should have also been done two weeks earlier at the All-Star Game – they honored late MLB Hall of Famers Tony Gwynn and Ralph Kiner.

Update, July 2021: This video has been removed.

Two minutes. Yes, the video didn’t honor the other recently deceased players and personalities from the past year, but then again, this is the Hall of Fame induction – honoring and memorializing their own is expected. This was a celebration of baseball’s greats, and they still took time at the beginning of the ceremony to honor what we’ve lost.

This is the last post I’m going to write about this – until, of course, Fox and Major League Baseball ignore everyone in baseball history except Derek Jeter at the All-Star Game once again.
