The Steve Kerr Coaching Carousel has finally come to a stop and it looks like he’s heading west.  After a long flirtation period with Phil Jackson and the New York Knicks, the newly open Golden State Warriors job was too good to pass up.  Steve Kerr is going to be replacing another analyst-turned-coach in Mark Jackson according to TNT’s David Aldridge.

At least Kerr was nice enough to give his network the scoop, right?

It makes sense because Kerr is a west coast guy and let’s face it, 99 out of 100 people with functioning brains would probably rather coach the Warriors roster over the Knicks, with or without Carmelo Anthony.  Also, the 5 year, $25 million dollar deal probably didn’t hurt either.

Now the attention turns to who replaces Kerr at TNT and when with several viable options on the table.
