You know it as soon as you hear it.

"Da-da-da, da-da-da."

The ESPN Sportscenter theme is instantly recognizeable, and now it's getting the viral treatment. A new contest on the network's Facebook page is inviting musicians of all genres to submit cover versions of the tune. Fans will vote for their favorites and the winner will be announced on the show, where they will perform their rendition live.

SportsCenter "Fan Jam" voting began Monday. The first matchup pits Chicago-based electronic pop/rock band I Fight Dragons against Boulder, Colorado-based acoustic guitarist Trace Bundy.

Here's the band's Nintendo Game Boy-inspired version:

ESPN hasn't announced the rest of the "bracket" yet, but a quick YouTube search yields a couple of submissions uploaded by the network's official account including a beatbox-and-bass version and a solo piano cover.

Here's hoping the composer of the original theme, John Colby, offers his take at some point.
