It's amazing when you learn the viewing habits of an athlete. With free time in between practice sessions and games, it's not surprising to learn that programs like "The Price is Right," "The View," "The Chew" and soap operas or daytime dramas as they're officially classified, are some of the most watched shows when athletes are home.

Fullback Michael Robinson of the Super Bowl champions Seattle Seahawks recently disclosed that he's a big fan of CBS' "The Young and the Restless." The show's producers were pleased to learn this so they arranged for him to visit the show and wrote him into an episode.

According to CBS, Robinson will shake hands with one of the show's main characters, Victor Newman played by Eric Braeden. The show will air on March 25 at 12:30 p.m. ET and 11 a.m. PT.

Robinson said the Young and the Restless "was the best show on daytime television because their storylines are always entertaining and intriguing."

We have to take his word for it. The serial drama viewing at the Awful Announcing offices mainly consists of WWE Raw or Smackdown.
