Regional Window (CBS)

Blackouts: New York, Chicago, Pittsburgh

1. Buffalo (BUF vs. HOU) – 33.3/62
2. Indianapolis (TEN vs. IND) – 31.8/55
3. Baltimore (CAR vs. BAL) – 29.9/59
4. San Diego (JAX vs. SD) – 29.7/57
5. Houston (BUF vs. HOU) – 27.6/55
6. Charlotte (CAR vs. BAL) – 22.1/44
7. Jacksonville (JAX vs. SD) – 21.7/35
8. Nashville (TEN vs. IND) – 19.7/34
9. Greensboro (CAR vs. BAL) – 15.6/27
10. Miami (MIA vs. OAK) – 14.9/31
31. Bay Area (MIA vs. OAK) – 5.7/16

CBS had the biggest drop of the three NFL networks on Sunday, dropping 12 percent from 2013 with an 8.2 rating. Losing the New York and Pittsburgh markets — two of the bigger AFC havens — really hurt CBS during their regional slots.

Houston was the only market to show real gains from last week in terms of local ratings, but look at how Miami and Oakland dipped from recent numbers for a neutral site game in London. Even just considering that neither of the two teams’ fans would be at the stadium watching these games, it’s kind of a shock to see how low both were.

3. Chicago (GB vs. CHI) – 30.0/59
4. Detroit (DET vs. NYJ) – 22.1/45

Fox had a one percent decline for their early window from last year. Tampa Bay drew a season high, a week after drawing a season low. The Jets 1 p.m. ET game against the Lions drew a higher rating (11.4) than their Monday night game against the Bears just a week ago.

Blackouts: San Diego

1. Minneapolis-St. Paul (ATL vs. MIN) – 38.2/71
2. Philadelphia (PHI vs. SF) – 31.5/53
3. Sacramento (PHI vs. SF) – 25.8/47
4. Atlanta (ATL vs. MIN) – 24.4/43
5. Bay Area (PHI vs. SF) – 23.3/51
6. Las Vegas (PHI vs. SF) – 20.6/36
7. New Orleans (PHI vs. SF) – 20.6/31
8. Norfolk (PHI vs. SF) – 18.6/30
9. Milwaukee (PHI vs. SF) – 17.7/36
10. Dallas (PHI vs. SF) – 17.4/32

The power of Peyton Manning plays out yet again: with Eagles-49ers, rather than Eagles-Broncos, in the late slot, Fox was down nine percent from 2013. Eagles-49ers was also seen in more of the country than Eagles-Broncos was last year.

The Bay Area bounced back from a season low last week, while Minneapolis hit a season high for their backup game against the Falcons. Atlanta also hit a season high.

Sunday Night Football (NBC)

1. New Orleans – 48.9/62
2. Dallas – 35.5/51
3. San Antonio – 25.9/38
4. Austin – 21.9/38
5. Albuquerque – 19.6/30
6. Richmond – 19.1/28
7. Memphis – 18.8/26
8. Houston – 18.3/28
9. Las Vegas – 18.0/29
10. Norfolk – 17.6/26

Another week, another massive, season high rating for New Orleans. Dallas also hit a season high, as SNF was the only NFL window on Sunday to not see a drop from 2013. It was only a .7 percent gain from Patriots-Falcons last year, but a raise is still a raise.
