Yup, it’s happened again. The National Football League has announced yet another crossflex and it’s for Week 15. And just like in Week 14 where the NFL moved a Cleveland Browns game from CBS to Fox, it will do so again in Week 15.
Cincinnati at Cleveland which was originally scheduled for CBS at 1 p.m. ET will be moved to Fox at the same time. This was done to make up for Minnesota at Detroit which was moved from 1 p.m. to the 4:25 p.m. window. So CBS will have five games at 1 p.m. and Fox will have four games plus two games in the late national Sunday afternoon window.
NBC’s game, Dallas at Philadelphia will remain in place.
So Northern Ohio which will have Fox air the Indianapolis-Cleveland game this coming Sunday will have the NFC network air the Browns for two consecutive weeks.
As we wrote for the Week 14 crossflex, this is a new feature for the NFL TV contract which took effect this season. Select AFC games will air on Fox while select NFC games will go to CBS. It’s also being done to balance the schedules and give some games a wider audience.
