The new coach of the Cleveland Browns, for probably the next year or so, is former Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Mike Pettine. A week ago, Pettine's daughter Megan was chatting with a friend on Twitter about her dad's first interview, and voiced her displeasure with the possible opportunity, as captured by Black Sports Online.
Oh, well that sounds inspiring.
In his introductory press conference on Thursday, Pettine mentioned his daughter's comments, saying that when she was young, the family lived in Baltimore and she "learned" not to be a Browns fan. Well I guess that settles it – Megan Pettine doesn't hate Cleveland, she just hated the Browns growing up. What a relief.
