By now, I’m sure you’re all familiar with the semi-regular segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live in which celebrities read mean tweets about themselves. The clips are hilarious, and the tweets so funny that Gawker suspected they were coming from professional comedians and/or writers for the show.

In any case, last night’s edition featured NBA players (and Bill Simmons!) as a tribute to the NBA finals and were quite hysterical:

Just for fun, I went to the Twitter pages of @DavidMateDi, who said ungentlemanly things to Kris Humphries, and @WatchJ, who had the brilliant Dikembe tweet. I couldn’t find the Humphries tweet, but at least one of them was real.

In any case, the segment is pretty funny and popular, even though the authenticity is suspect.
