With six notable figures — Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, Frank Thomas, Bobby Cox, Tony La Russa and Joe Torre — inducted in baseball’s Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY on July 27, MLBN’s telecast (1:30-4:45 p.m.) drew 516,000 viewers – a 410-percent rise from the July 28, 2013 event (when no player was inducted by writers; 101,000 viewers) and a 177-percent rise from the July 22, 2012 event (when Barry Larkin and Ron Santo were inducted by writers; 186,000 viewers).
