The Milwaukee Bucks are one game over .500 at 11-10, but when you compare it to last season’s pitiful record of 15-67 and firmly entrenched in last place in the Central Division, this season is like paradise. With such a bad record, it’s no surprise that ratings for last season fell to low levels.

As it appears that the Bucks will exceed last year’s win total this month, fans are supporting their team. Fox Sports Wisconsin is proudly touting the Bucks’ ratings which not only have doubled, not only have tripled, but quadrupled! Yes, TV ratings for Bucks games are up a whopping 404% from last season!

Fox Sports Wisconsin says its ratings for November which was for 18 games averaged a rating of 2.52 and that’s up 404% from the season average. Compared to the same period of last season, the ratings are up an amazing 270%.

The highest-rated game of November was against the Brooklyn Nets (3.79 local rating) when Bucks coach Jason Kidd squared off against his old team.

After the first month of the 2014-15 season, Fox Sports Wisconsin has to be encouraged about its ratings especially if the Bucks continue to win and maintain its record above .500 for the entire campaign. There’s still a long way to go as the season rolls on.
