Doug Gottlieb moved his radio show to New York where he is now sharing the same building with Mike Francesa.  On Gottlieb’s first day in his new place, he got a warm welcome from the Sports Pope, who gave his entire staff a plate of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and bottles of Diet Coke.  Because if there’s one thing Mike Francesa is about, it’s extravagant hospitality.

Actually, scratch that.  Francesa threatened Gottlieb’s producer as part of a sports radio turf war.

Gottlieb appeared with fellow CBS Sports Network personalities Boomer & Carton (who have their show simulcasted from WFAN) and told a story about Francesa threatening his producer Adam Klug.  Apparently, Klug tried to book Kentucky coach John Calipari, who had appeared with Mikey earlier in the day.  Francesa was not happy about that and laid down the non-existent law.

There’s only one way to pay back Francesa here and that is Gottlieb dedicating an entire show to prank calling the pope.
