Even the best announcers can contribute to the blooper reel every now and then. Last night on TNT, Kevin Harlan called this play a dunk by Shawne Williams. To the naked eye, in real speed, it might look like a successful jam. Williams gets up at the rim, the net swooshes, and play quickly moves the other way.
But a closer look reveals that Williams indeed missed the dunk as he was blocked by a Thunder defender. Even after Mike Fratello saw an above the rim replay that more clearly showed the miss, he still lauded Williams' finish!
