Landon Donovan was the talk of the World Cup. In 2010. Donovan was not a part of this 2014 team and was instead relegated to reading off a teleprompter to pass off as analysis on ESPN. However, a lot of people who claim to be soccer fans do not know this, as proven by Jimmy Kimmel.

For Kimmel’s segment Lie Witness News, he took to the streets to ask random “fans” what they thought of Donovan’s performance in the 2014 World Cup, including him biting someone (that was actually Luis Suarez, but same thing). The results are hilarious:

The problem is that we in the US claim to be big soccer fans, but in reality, the people in this video have as much credibility talking about soccer as Tori Spelling does about method acting. Hey-ooooo.
