The Jenny Dell situation at NESN finally has a resolution. Dell is pursuing opportunities outside of NESN, and the two parties have parted ways.
At the end of January, NESN pulled Dell off of Boston Red Sox telecasts for the 2014 season following her New Year's Eve reveal that she was dating Boston third baseman Will Middlebrooks. Dell joined NESN as a Red Sox reporter starting in the 2012 season, replacing the popular Heidi Watney, who moved on to Time Warner SportsNet LA and later, MLB Network.
We'll see where Dell ends up landing. Fox and MLB Network reportedly had interest in the past, and those would appear to be the most logical landing spots. Will she end up at a national station, or stay local? Stay tuned.
