The Tampa Bay Buccaneers put forth one of the most pitiful efforts in NFL history on Thursday night as they fell to the Atlanta Falcons 56-14.  The truth of the matter is that the game wasn’t even that close.  As impossible as that is to believe.  The Falcons were up 56-0 after three quarters and that was even after starters like Matt Ryan and Julio Jones were pulled from the game.  Devin Hester even dusted off the mothballs and broke the record for touchdown returns.

Jim Nantz even called the Bucs embarrassing, which might be the biggest condemnation of their effort.  Just what the league needed after the week it’s had, right?

The Bucs are now 0-3 with a 50-burger laid on them and home losses to two teams playing backup quarterbacks.

In short, Tampa Bay.  Woof.
