If you follow me on Twitter, you know that I have had some issues with Fox Sports Live this week. They’ve been blatantly using the open of their shows the past couple nights to cross-promote with brands they have contracts with, along with the typical jocularity and wannabe Bayless-ing that happens on the show. Petros Papadakis yelling over Adrian Wojnarowski will do that to you. We’ll get to that later, however, as one of the cross-promo attempts has birthed a very silly video.

Mike Tyson debuts a series of boxing matches produced by his company tonight on Fox Sports 1, and the network used him to their full extent, with a 1-on-1 interview that preceded World Cup highlights on the first edition of the show. They also, for some reason, continued to indulge Tyson’s interest in acting. It produced a series of the former boxer reciting great movie lines.

The Hangover is five years and three movies old, and it has aged very poorly. One of the things that hasn’t is Tyson’s goofy cameo in the first film, but still, it’s amazing to see that he continues to have a career at all after everything he’s done. That said, good on Fox Sports Live for finding something that fits the absurd tone its anchors should be pursuing if they weren’t having their airtime taken up by panel discussion.
