ESPN’s lineup through football season will, naturally, contain a lot of football, a polarizing personality given a new platform, and the return of a move that has upset many viewers in the past.

The network will repurpose the “best of ” The Herd with Colin Cowherd in a 30-minute broadcast titled You Herd Me. The show will air weekdays at 4:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2, filling a slot that had previously been filled Highly Questionable reruns. Cowherd will introduce segments from both his radio show and his Sunday morning football show, which will return to ESPN2 this season as well.

ESPN and ESPN2 will keep pretty much the rest of their fall lineups in tact from what they were during the last NFL season. That means, yes, the network’s daily dose of feeding you your vegetables, Outside the Lines, gets stuck with a daily timeslot of 5:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2. It will follow College Football Live, a show that also airs on ESPN at 2:30 p.m. ET.

College Football Live will return to ESPN next week, with Chris Cotter as the main host of the show. Joey Galloway, Brian Griese, Danny Kanell, Desmond Howard, Trevor Matich, David Pollack and Robert Smith are the featured analysts. Friday’s broadcast of the show will take place live from the site of wherever College Gameday is airing that Saturday.
