ESPN College Basketball

Mark your calendars for October 17th, college basketball fans. On that date ESPN will launch the new college basketball season with ESPNU Midnight Madness, a special night of coverage which will combine studio coverage as well as remote coverage from 11 different campuses.

In their ninth year of covering the Midnight Madness tradition, ESPN will highlight Arizona, Kentucky, UConn, Florida, Gonzaga and San Diego State. Meanwhile, ESPN3 will broadcast the Midnight Madness celebrations in their entirety from Kansas, Harvard, Mercer, Kentucky, UConn, NC State and Florida Gulf Coast.

If that’s not enough to excite the college basketball fan within, ESPN’s College Hoops Tip Off Marathon is shaping up to be an event worthy of skipping some sleep. The network will once again air 24 consecutive hours of coverage in a marathon which will show 19 men’s and women’s college basketball games across ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. It will conclude at the Champions Classic in Indianapolis and Michigan State vs Duke and Kansas vs Kentucky.
