On July 29th, ESPN will air a live SportsCenter Special that will feature your Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks at training camp. The network has bounced around different NFL training camps this summer, but this will be a two-hour special devoted solely to the Seahawks.

The details from a network press release:

ESPN will provide a rare inside look at a National Football League team practice during SportsCenter Special: Seahawks Training Camp on Tuesday, July 29, at 1:30 p.m. ET / 10:30 a.m. PT. The nearly two-hour special will feature live coverage as Russell Wilson, Richard Sherman and the Super Bowl champions take the field for their first training camp workout in pads of the new season at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton, Wash.

SportsCenter anchor Kenny Mayne, who grew up in Kent, Wash., and now lives in nearby Kirkland, will host the special. He will be joined by Monday Night Football’s Jon Gruden, studio analyst Darren Woodson and ESPN senior writer John Clayton, also a longtime Pacific Northwest resident (Tacoma).

It’s good to be the defending Super Bowl champs as the media attention on the Seahawks for the upcoming season is only beginning. Head Coach Pete Carroll is going to run drills while Gruden and Woodson offer their insights. I can only imagine how giddy Gruden will be during this practice. It will also give fans a glimpse in to how Richard Sherman acts under normal circumstances (i.e. not like a wackadoo hopefully).

It will be interesting to see how well this special does and whether or not any other teams will be featured later in the summer. (coughcough… BearswithMikeDitka… coughcough)
